Welcome to the only page on the web that features songs written entirely by cats.
It is well known that a cat's life is hard. There's so much sleeping, eating, playing and being cute that it is hard sometimes to get it all done in a timely fashion. To that end, Sumi and Scylla- two very resourceful cats - have written a number of work songs designed to ease the plight of the common house cat.
Sumi's career has spanned two zipcodes since 1997. While she spends much of her free time beating her co-feline, Scylla, she still finds time to put paw to paper and create these timeless masterpieces. Scylla, when not defending herself from Sumi's attacks, plots her revenge and writes touching Litter chantys, otherwise known as "Forelitters" (sung by cats after a hard day's work). Prepare to step into the hardscrabble world of the working housecat.

Many of you have requested Midi files for these masterpieces. Unfortunately, we do not have thumbs which makes it very hard to program the instruments. If we could open the closet door where the midi equipment was.....but we're just dreaming, now.
